About the job: Tellers provide exceptional service to members by handling routine tasks, such as processing payments, accepting deposits, and handling withdrawals. Tellers respond to member requests and inquiries, make recommendations about products and services, as well as maintain and balance cash supplies. What you'll be responsible for: Adhere to MCU's policy and procedure. Perform due diligence to mitigate risk and minimize loss. Verify member's identity and identification prior to conducting any service on accounts within established guidelines. Prepare journal entries as necessary. Verify large negotiable items as required. Achieve assigned goals and referrals. Open, close, and secure teller terminal and CDM daily. Accurately balance teller terminal host totals and cash drawer. Assist with back-up work and distribution of daily work. Accurately calculate and verify all incoming and outgoing cash. Comply with BSA and SAR requirements. Performs other related duties assigned by management. Travel and work at other branch locations as required. Work overtime as required. What you'll bring: High school diploma or the equivalent required. Minimum two years of prior banking or customer service/sales experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly ethical General Math skills Strong organizational skills Detail-oriented Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent 2 years of experience working on a fast pace environment 2 years of experience delivering high customer satisfaction Open and desire to learn Able to work on a team environment.
