The Accounts Payable Specialist position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented person who manages the financial obligations for the Integritus Healthcare organization and its affiliates. The candidate should be Proficient in processing invoices, reconciling accounts and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.Essential Job Functions: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for data entry of vendor invoices. Maintain timely entry and scanning of invoices and Payment Authorization vouchers. Resolve any invoice problems. Run an age payable report weekly to clear outstanding invoices before month end. Maintain and update the Payment Authorization Voucher signature book for manual checks. Performs various Administrative and other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department. Perform other accounts payable duties which may include: Add new vendors to the accounts payable and finance system. Mail out checks, Sort and distribute "hold" checks. Perform other A/P mail Scan W9's Cross training on other A/P duties/other duties as assigned. Make copies of all correction made each day to invoices and share copies with the A/P Supervision. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Qualifications: High School Diploma Preferred Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Needs to have a complete understanding of an operational routine accounting functions Experience: Minimum qualifications Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Physical and sensory requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to communicate and listen. This position requires sitting 75% of the time. Occasional standing, walking, twisting, and bending. The ability to lift to 25lbs occasionally without assistance. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stresses of position.
