Event Sales Representative - Washington D.C. Metro Region Driven by our passion for perfection for over 290 years, opportunities exist for Event Sales Representatives to promote, pitch, and sell our premium products at Costco Warehouse locations. In this role you can be expected to do the following: Perform demonstrations as the face of Zwilling focused on driving sales and brand awareness. Answering customers' questions and overcoming objections while creating an energetic and fun event. Consistently achieve sales that meet or exceed monthly and annual sales objectives. Set up, break down, and merchandise demo booth/pop-up shop. Take inventory on a regular basis and communicate replenishment needs. Communicate regularly with the management team providing constructive insights and feedback. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: Strong persuasive public speaking skills in front of a live audience. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. (set-up, break down, and restocking demo booths). Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Must be available to work nights and weekends, and potentially overnight travel High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required for this role. Ideally, candidates should have any of the following skills to succeed in the Event Sales roles: Consumer goods and services sales experience. Roadshow experience to present products. Experience in direct or pitch style sales ideal. Culinary experience with a passion for food. Theater / acting experience to convey information clearly and effectively. Schedule and Pay, Bonus and Commission Structure: A roadshow is 10 & ½ Days: Booth set-up: Thursday evening (8:30p.m.-11:30p.m.). Monday-Friday: 10-11 hours per day. Roadshow: Friday through the following Sunday. Saturday-Sunday: 9-10 hours per day. Booth tear-down: Sunday evening (8:30p.m. - 11:30 p.m.). Part Time: Work one roadshow/month. Full-time: Work two roadshows/month (3 ½ days off between shows) Extensive travel throughout the region is anticipated with this role. Compensation includes: Hourly pay plus overtime with an aggressive uncapped sales-based commission / bonus structure. On average, experienced demonstrators make $2,300-$2,500 per 10-day assignment, with potential to make significantly more based on sales performance. The hourly wage range for this position will commence at $15.00 to $17.50 plus overtime. These positions will require local travel for specific shows. Shows within 50 miles of residence: Reimbursable Mileage (personal vehicle) or Transit costs. Shows more than 50 miles from residence: We will cover necessary travel costs within reason to include: hotel, airfare, rental car, when necessary & up to $50/day meal reimbursement.
