Key Responsibilities: Strategic Vendor Management: The Purchasing Manager will lead efforts to build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts that ensure quality and cost-effectiveness while aligning with company standards. Inventory and Supply Chain Oversight: The manager will oversee inventory levels and forecast needs based on production requirements, implementing systems to minimize excess stock and reduce shortages. Procurement Process Optimization: Developing and refining procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance, ensuring that purchasing activities support overall business objectives. Team Leadership: The Purchasing Manager will lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
