The Role: TIME's Director, Partnerships is charged with building and managing an integrated sales effort for a prestigious and long-established brand as it goes through its transformation journey under new leadership. You will have an exceptional track record for exceeding sales targets and managing complex and demanding client relationships. This entrepreneurial Director, Partnerships, is a creative and strategic thinker who has strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written. You are highly organized and able to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: Assertively grow existing and prospective accounts across TIME's integrated platform suite Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision makers at all levels, both client and agency Proactively curate idea-based solutions for the extent of the prospective and current account list Work collaboratively with cross-functional internal departments (editorial, planning, sales, marketing, production, research, finance) to service key accounts Maintain accurate reporting through Salesforce to manage prospects, client accounts, pipeline, and business forecasts Own the entire sales process from outreach, negotiation, developing and presenting solution-oriented programs that meet the needs of the client Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets Promote and abide by our commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Qualifications: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience selling (preferably at a major media company), with a demonstrable track record for strategic, consultative selling with cross-platform experience Strong client and agency relationships/contacts across industry categories, and at all levels Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business. Excellent communication, time management, and presentation skills Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, G-Suite, Salesforce and Slack Self-motivated; proactive; strong team player Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment Enthusiastic about innovation, positive-change and collaboration. Eligible candidates for the role must be within a commutable distance of TIME's New York City office upon hire and will be expected to be physically present as needed.
