LyondellBasell Basic Function The position of Maintenance Technician includes multiple tasks that ultimately provide good manufacturing practices and on time delivery to the customer. This position will support all manufacturing maintenance activities in the facility and responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety standards and company policies. #LI-LL2 Roles & Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Set up and operate electronic instrumentation and related electromechanical or electrohydraulic apparatus involved in testing of electrical, mechanical and fluid powered equipment 2. Select, install, and calibrate instrumentation and circuitry 3. Perform predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance 4. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production 5. Maintain accurate electronic work orders, timekeeping, and parts inventory system 6. Maintain accurate records and provide analysis of data retrieved 7. Analyze operating processes to help maximize efficiency and assist with manufacturing efficient machine operations 8. Troubleshot manufacturing issues within a process, machine, or facility related 9. Min. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed herewith are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum three years verifiable experience working in an industrial maintenance role of similar capacity at an industrial manufacturing facility, verifiable military experience, PLUS a certification/degree in at least one of the following: • Industrial Electricity/motor controls or a state issued license • Journeyman's Card (Electrical, Maintenance, Millwright) • Welding certification (3G or 4G, preferably 6G • Fluid Power Systems Certification (Hydraulic and Pneumatic) • Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering 2 year degree Preferred Qualifications Experience in troubleshooting PLC programs via computer Proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance practices. Ability to multitask and utilize the time available to organize and complete work within given deadlines Operate equipment (lift trucks, aerial work platforms). Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights Must be able to stand a minimum of six hours Must be able to work in tight, cramped spaces Must be able to pass and properly wear all required PPE including respiratory protection Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, the work environment may be dusty with temperature extremes. Possible exposure to outside elements.
