Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager in Rahway, NJ with a robust construction background, a steadfast commitment to safety and quality, and a strong focus on client engagement. In this role, you will collaborate with the Project Director and/or Senior Project Manager to lead our engineering, construction management, and superintendent teams towards achieving project goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans, project scopes of work, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate with accounting to manage vendor and subcontractor invoicing and client billing. Monitor project costs and field conditions, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in cost reports. Oversee design content and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance. Align construction schedules with design, commissioning, and qualification requirements. Identify and mitigate project risks in partnership with senior leadership. Lead the established site safety program, monitoring performance with Construction Managers and Superintendents. Regularly interact with clients to ensure their needs are met, focusing on delivering an exceptional IPS client experience. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients, developing innovative solutions while constructing life-impacting facilities. Qualifications & Requirements: 10+ years of experience in project delivery or a related discipline, preferably in electrical and instrumentation. Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects. OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain and maintain it. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments. Background in constructing pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or life science facilities. Knowledge of piping and civil construction. Strong communication skills, team-building abilities, and a solid work ethic. Willingness to travel to project sites and work on-site. Safety: Adhere to all stated safety rules while working at client sites. This is a safety-sensitive position. Act as a field contractor supervisor, overseeing field work for IPS employees or subcontractors.
