Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist SLP Part-Time

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with The Menta Group, you will work with students to provide speech-language assistance in accordance with the students' IEP's. Full-Time Options available for those interested Responsibilities Provide educational direction and support for students at times of confusion, frustration & emotional upset. Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for student caseload. Provide Speech-Language related service minutes as dictated on the IEP. Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly. Compensated Intrastate Travel Required > Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university program. Current Speech-Language Pathology license from IDFPR Clinical Competency Certification (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed. > Benefits Hourly compensation About Menta Academy Midway Menta Academy Midway promotes independence in students by creating a learning environment that fosters individualization and planning. The program provides support for English and non-English speaking children with disabilities by focusing on the whole child in their native language. Collaborative and data-based problem-solving approaches are utilized to develop appropriate interventions and progress monitoring. Physical structure, visual schedules, work systems, communication systems, and sensory supports are thoughtfully integrated to optimize student success. Midway serves students in grades K-12 and those transitioning from school to life ages 18-21. Disabilities served include autism, emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, other health impairments, traumatic brain injury, and multiple disabilities.
