Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking a Production Engineer with an interest in learning the stamping side of the business. The position will monitor, modify, and evaluate stamping dies to coordinate and implement process improvements. Essential Job Functions Prepare design (hand and CAD) sketches and blueprints of machinery, fixtures, and layouts Process equipment evaluation, specifications, procurement, and implementation Inspection of Stamping dies, Trials for aging Demonstrated Team Player with good communication skills (written & verbal) Coordinate with production personnel, vendors, and external contractors to implement process improvements (Kaizens) Structured problem solving experience (e.g. - 5 Why's, 8D) Work with robotic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HMI systems to meet safety standards and customer requirements Follow standard work instructions (e.g. - LOTO, Arc Flash, documentation) Primary focus on Safety Perform other duties assigned Other Job Functions Comply with FIC's Safety policies and procedures Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards Perform 5-S activities Requirements 3+ years of experience in a Production Engineering role Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience Must have proficient oral and written communication skills Must be willing to cross-train Must be able to work company's required overtime Must comply with FIC's Attendance and Punctuality Policy Exceptional Benefits - 90% Company Paid!
