We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Vista Care Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services operations. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that facilities are in good operating condition. Responsibilities may include cleaning buildings and rooms, and performing general maintenance and repair of the building, grounds, and equipment. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: Work Schedule: Full Time; standard work week is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime/weekend work required. Location/Travel: Onsite in Vista Care locations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance and upkeep of all property owned or operated by Vista Care and its affiliates Ensure that all facilities are maintained in a safe and professional manner. Ensure that all maintenance duties are completed in such a way that the safety and well-being of all Vista Care's residents and staff are protected. Maintain detailed maintenance work order records for all programs through company platforms. Report financial activity of the maintenance department through company platforms. Monitor and report financial activity of the maintenance department. Safely operate company vehicles while traveling between work locations. Attend scheduled administrative meetings. All other duties as assigned. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Light plumbing Light electrical HVAC Fire safety Flooring General maintenance Snow removal, as needed Coordinating licensed contractors as needed Appliance repair and maintenance Maintain licensing information for all homes Well inspections Water testing Fire equipment Furnace inspections Septic inspections Requirements At least 2 years of experience in a related trade preferred. Have a valid WI driver's license with valid insurance and clean driving record. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques on a regular basis. Perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for accessing spaces and performing ground-level activities. Walk, stand, and engage in continuous physical activities during cleaning, maintenance, and outdoor tasks.
