Terminal Operator Performs duties as outlined by the Terminal Manger related to the receipt and shipment of petroleum products via pipeline, dock, and truck. The Individual is expected to manage multiple tasks and recognize abnormal operating conditions and respond within Company guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Monitor the transfer of oil and petroleum products to and from marine vessels, trucks, and storage tanks. Conduct regular inspections of tanks, pipelines, and related equipment to ensure operational safety and environmental compliance. Coordinate with marine personnel and truck drivers for the scheduling and safe execution of loading and unloading operations. Maintain accurate records of product movement and inventory levels. Respond promptly to emergencies or operational disruptions, following established protocols. Operate and maintain terminal equipment, including pumps, valves, and automated systems. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. Participate in ongoing training and safety drills to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements. All other duties as reasonably assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training or certification is a plus. Previous experience in an oil terminal or similar industrial setting is preferred. Strong understanding of terminal operations, including safety and environmental regulations. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
