About the job FPGA Verification Specialist Title: FPGA Verification Specialist - Tactical Communications Location: United States - Florida, Maryland, New York, Utah Company: L3Harris Technologies Seniority Level: Associate Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Base Salary: USD $73,000 to $135,000 Relocation Assistance: Available Remote Work: Not Available Description: Join our team as a Specialist, FPGA Verification at L3Harris Technologies within the Tactical Communications business. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in verifying and testing embedded FPGA firmware for radio communication systems. Collaborate within a dynamic team, creating test specifications, writing tests in System Verilog, and ensuring designs meet requirements. Be part of cross-functional teams to verify FPGA designs for radio product development projects. Essential Functions: Verify and validate embedded electronic communication systems using SystemVerilog and UVM techniques. Develop Agents, Test sequences, Covergroups, Predictors, Scoreboards. Create randomized and directed tests to achieve functional coverage goals. Develop verification test plans and test benches consistent with system requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and verify design requirements. Prepare design and implementation reviews; present technical briefings and status updates. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (C++, JAVA). Proven expertise in FPGA/ASIC verification using SystemVerilog. Working knowledge of UVM/OVM methodology. Experience with Advanced Functional Verification tools for functional coverage reporting. Strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts/solutions. Highly motivated, self-starter, effective in team environments. Ability and willingness to obtain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Additional Qualifications: Working knowledge of Ethernet Standard and design experience related to Ethernet packet processing. Experience with cryptographic algorithms and solutions for embedded communication systems. Demonstrated ability to analyze and debug FPGA firmware and related hardware issues.
