Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating the daily schedules of our dog walkers and pet sitters, ensuring that all client needs are met promptly and efficiently. This individual must be comfortable with walking dogs of all sizes and stepping in to walk dogs when necessary. This position offers the potential to grow from part-time to full-time. Responsibilities: Create and manage daily schedules for dog walkers and pet sitters. Assign clients to appropriate team members based on availability and expertise. Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate client requests and changes. Physically able to walk dogs ranging from 5 lbs to 120 lbs. Walk large dogs and maintain the stamina to walk 3-5 miles daily. Step in for dog walkers when they are unavailable. Maintain strong relationships with clients and gather feedback to enhance service quality. Feel comfortable having dialogues with customers and addressing their needs. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture. Utilize strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and CRM software. Qualifications: Previous experience walking dogs, with a detailed explanation of your experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge and passion for animal care. Strong computer skills; experience with Word, Excel, and CRM software is a plus. Good knowledge of the geographical area (Arlington, Alexandria, and Falls Church).
