Zone Technician II Location: Atlanta, GA Job Type: Full-time Shift/Schedule: Variable (day, evening, night, and weekend shifts) The Zone Technician II performs repairs and preventive maintenance utilizing basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry skills. This role ensures that all maintenance activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other system failures or malfunctions. Conduct inspections of building systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they escalate. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and inspection reports. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls, providing timely and effective solutions. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Technical or vocational school coursework of at least 18 credit hours in relevant building maintenance skills. 3-5 years of practical experience in building maintenance. Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required. Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
