Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer Location:  Spring City, PA New graduates/Freshers are encouraged to apply.   Overview: The Automation Engineer will collaborate with Engineered-to-Order (ETO) and Modernization teams to provide customized software and hardware solutions for customers. This role includes commissioning, troubleshooting, performing software updates, and ensuring that equipment aligns with customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Customize crane controls using pre-existing software modules. Support factory acceptance, commissioning, and lifecycle of material handling equipment. Modify PLC software to fulfill customer requirements. Monitor and develop replacements for obsolete automation equipment. Collaborate with engineers and service technicians to resolve control/software issues. Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting as required. Additional Information: The candidate should possess strong knowledge of automation systems and hands-on expertise in the specified technical areas. This is a full-time opportunity within an innovative environment. Requirements Must-Have Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, or Automation Engineering. Experience working in the Manufacturing Industry. Previous experience as an Automation Engineer. Siemens PLC and HMI Programming experience. Familiarity with NEC electrical code and OSHA safety regulations. Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Stable work history. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience setting up variable frequency drives and control systems for material handling devices. Experience in crane manufacturing is preferred.
