Role: Construction Manager Location: Columbus , Toldeo, Cleveland -OH Position Type: FullTime JD: Key Responsibilities: Act as the Construction Project Manager, overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle. Prepare and monitor project engineering budgets, and handle project billing as directed. Provide daily supervision to all field staff under your management. Review shop drawings and submittals, coordinating with design engineers for technical reviews. Ensure daily evaluation of the work being done, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, including agencies, clients, engineers, and contractors. Organize and lead pre-construction and job meetings, preparing and distributing minutes accordingly. Address Contractor issues related to plan and specification interpretations, coordinating resolutions. Assess work for compliance with plans and specifications, recommending acceptance or rejection. Manage and process design change requests, and negotiate extra work costs when necessary. Requirements A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction or contracting. A degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or Construction is preferred. Proven project management skills. Experience in site development, general trades, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roofing. A strong understanding of construction management, budget management, inspection, and testing.
