The future will arrive faster if we build it together. Visit for more information. Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems. In addition, the Maintenance Technician will assist with electrical and general maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work safely and comply with all safety processes Comply with quality system work instruction Monitor, diagnose, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems as directed Completing PM's Completing PdM routes Responding to breakdowns Fabricating Installing Operate mobile equipment Operate basic Machine Shop Equipment (Drill Press, bandsaw, lathe, grinders) Documenting corrective actions within the ONE Maintenance system as required Qualifications and/or Experience High school diploma or GED Previous mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Must be able to satisfactorily complete Our Next Energy's hiring process requirements which include comprehensive assessments and background checks Must be comfortable working in a semi-clean room atmosphere, including gowning or lab coats, hair nets, gloves and safety glasses as required Must be able to read, write, and understand work instructions, blueprints and documentation Must be able to use computer based work tools Preferred Experience: Associates degree in related field Completion of at least 8 year's experience in a Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics trade or a certified apprenticeship as a Electrical (Electrician), Mechanical (Millwright, Toolmaker, Pipefitter, Machine Repair) or Mechatronic trade. Prior experience working with/repairing power transmission, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, seals, pumps & fans, basic rigging, and basic fabrication Knowledge of PLC's VFD's, servo controllers, temperature control, and HMI systems is a plus Welding experience Ability to operate advanced Machine Shop equipment such as lathes and CNC mills Work Schedule: Work schedule to be established with supervisor to ensure Company's client and business needs are met. This position will include overtime as required.
