We're currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Supply Planning Manager to join our growing team. WHAT YOU WILL DO The Supply Planning Manager will have high interaction and influence with cross-functional teams to ensure that the supply planning organization supports the business objectives and delivers effective supply plans that support the USA and Canada businesses. This position is a collaborative Supply Chain leadership role that is responsible for the supply plans that enable the Supply Chain organization to meet customer service and total delivered cost objectives. In addition, this role will prioritize the professional development and growth of the supply planners. The scope of this role is to lead and improve Supply Planning for the USA & Canada businesses. Key deliverables of this role are: • Provide leadership and mentoring for a team of Supply Planners to ensure the right career development is prioritized and focus placed on functional competency improvements. • Executes plans to achieve and exceed customer service, managing working capital and key planning performance indicators. • Drives continuous excellence behaviors within the team, embedding root cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset. • Develops and guides implementation of all global recommended standards and be a change agent across supply planning. • Builds and leads cross-functional teams to achieve core business objectives while navigating and resolving complex business problems including aligning tradeoffs and decisions to identify and capitalize on opportunities in the supply plan. • Communicates information across the business such as projected out of stock, planning projections, capacity outlook across the horizon and management of inventory levels. • Act as the first point of contact for communication of supply planning and issue resolution with the commercial team, factories, logistics and other markets. • Leads and improves the Supply Review component of the Sales & Operations Planning processes to ensure alignment across functions to deliver robust operational and innovation execution plans. • Influences cross-functional teams at all levels (including executive teams) of the organization in reaching consensus and analysis regarding the rolling 24-month supply plans of our business. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU • BA/BS in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field. • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Supply Chain areas including leading teams. • Working knowledge of S&OP processes and interactions including portfolio management, demand management, supply planning, and financial reconciliation. • Experience with Operational Planning for capacity and inventory planning with ability to optimize across a variety of make/source scenarios across internal factories both domestically and internationally. • Experience in Continuous Improvement processes and cultures. • Proven effectiveness managing by influence across diverse levels of an organization and across functions. • Strong business and financial acumen. Strong financial/business literacy and analytical skills. • Development and analysis of scorecards to leverage data and KPIs to drive business improvements. • Robust written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization. Must display the ability to present complex data in simple, cohesive form to allow for effective decision making. • Ability to quickly establish credibility and navigate across matrix organization while engaging others to ensure the most effective solutions are implemented. • Capacity to build relationships internally and externally. • Confidence and success in problem resolution, resourcefulness and the ability to adjust to changes. • Project/Program management skills; ability to actively participate in and lead cross functional project team (internal), and to manage across supplier teams (external) for projects requiring outside suppliers.
