Qualifications Include : Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate in School Social Work, School Psychology, or School Counseling required Proven experience working with families in a school setting providing human and/or educational services. Knowledge and experience of the diverse needs of children and developmental levels, including those with disabilities and appropriate special education classroom practices. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel in both English and Spanish. Ability to collaborate with teachers, center directors, district administration and staff to support families in securing needed resources, enhance family well-being and children's learning and development Develop and facilitate family workshops in accordance with Grow NJ Kids Requirements Organize and Facilitate the Early Childhood Advisory Council Support and encourage family engagement Attend Preschool Intervention and Referral Team meetings Bilingual preferred/required The North Plainfield School District welcomes your interest and looks forward to reviewing your application!
