Job Description As a member of the Implementation and Customer Success team, the Digital Solutions Specialist - High School provides guidance, demonstrations, training, and support that exceeds expectations for high school teachers and administrators implementing BFW courseware solutions in their classrooms. The Digital Solutions Specialist - High School serves as a proprietary software authority working to resolve any issues that instructors encounter within their BFW digital solution. We value your potential, and we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where all individuals can thrive and contribute their best Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Advise and negotiate with teachers and school administrators to set up courses, teachers and students to best meet the needs of the customer for an optimal learning experience. This may include helping set up roster integrations including, but not limited to, Clever and ClassLink as well as manual uploads of data via SIS. Analyze and diagnose technical issues that instructors encounter with Macmillan Learning digital platforms, and then recommend and implement solutions. Advise instructors in using all aspects of Macmillan Learning digital platforms. Compose responses to all instructor inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner. Devise and perform demonstrations with sales teams to show potential customers Macmillan's digital platforms and advise customers how to implement those platforms in their classrooms. Point out benefits of using Macmillan's digital platforms and highlight unique features if appropriate. Train customers to use Macmillan's digital platforms after adoption. Show instructors how to use Macmillan Learning digital products to accomplish their teaching goals. Provide recommendations and feedback on future software enhancements and content development based on analysis of experience with customers, user needs, and customer feedback. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Experience with typical office software including email, spreadsheets, and word processing. Experience demonstrating strong organization and time management skills. Must be able to work Central or Mountain Time to effectively support the needs of our customers across various time zones. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a high school teacher or professional trainer. Experience providing professional training and support to teachers. Experience with Google Apps. Previous experience with incorporating digital education materials into a high school classroom. Experience with Moodle and/or another LMS (Blackboard, Canvas, D2L, Sakai). Customer service experience. Detail orientation and experience managing large amounts of data. Experience with conflict de-escalation and resolution. Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000/year Exemption Status: Exempt Physical Requirements: Requires periods of close concentration in a sometimes busy and open office; must be able to multi-task; must be able to travel occasionally. The position is eligible for remote employment, excluding the following locations: Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.
