The Information Technology (IT) Department is looking for an experienced technician to join the Data Center Operations team. You will be able to provide users with media center sercvices and technical support, while providing excellent customer service. You will have the opportunity to coordinate the installing, decommissioning and re-purposing of IT equipment. Our technicians also team with engineering to prepare for and coordinate facility maintenance and inspections; develop and maintain facility diagrams and documentation; train other personnel in the continuous operations of the Data Center; lead improvement initiatives; and support complex technical issues, media center operations and general data center operations. You will have opportunities to lead projects that will improve the efficiency and utilization of the media center and Data Center. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills Experience with media center operations. Experience installing, decommissioning and re-purposing of IT equipment. Experience with providing users with media center technical support. Ability to team with other IT personnel to improve facility operations, facility consolidations and operational procedures. Experience monitoring infrastructure and environmental systems. Ability to assist with surveillance of maintenance and improvement contracts. Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office programs. Experience with basic personal computer hardware. Demonstrated ability to work within a team structure. Demonstrated commitment to customer service. Experience planning, coordinating, scheduling, and preparing work procedures. Pay Range $62,000.00 - $94,900.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guide line only.
