The Hospital's ophthalmologists provide comprehensive treatment for vision problems, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, corneal disease, and many other ophthalmologic disorders. Optometrist - Eye Clinic - Columbia - ACN This role will provide high quality comprehensive eye care services to patients at one of New York's best hospitals. Our optometrists work collaboratively with resident, fellow, and attending ophthalmologists to facilitate medical, surgical, and subspecialty eye care for patients with ocular disease. This position can also participate in multi-disciplinary projects on patient care and quality improvements when requested in collaboration with the Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) Chief Medical Director, Medical Director in Eye Residency Director, and Practice Administrator. Required Criteria Doctor of Optometry with 1-3 years of experience (at least 6 months-1 year experience, if recommended from SUNY School of Optometry) Licensed Optometrist by the NYS Department of Education Basic Life Support Certification Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
