Your Role in Our Story: In essence, your role involves: Responsibility for the market analytics function at the fuels desk Working closely with the trading desk to support commercial efforts and build path towards PnL responsibility Developing a deep understanding of the regulations governing the different markets the trading desk participates in, staying up to date on upcoming changes and their potential impact on the market Building and maintaining models to study both market fundamentals and regulations of North American renewable fuel markets Preparing comprehensive market analysis and research reports Demonstrating your interest in trading, leverage your data analysis to identify trade and cross-sell opportunities and present them to rest of the team Supporting the commercial team's deal structuring efforts by providing market insights and participating in both internal and external meetings Career advancement opportunities can include commercial responsibilities Your Expertise: To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes 3-5 years of experience in market analytics/research Strong analytical, research, and interpersonal skills Has experience within physical commodities markets Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced collaborative team environment Organized, ambitious and great attention to detail Experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field Please note: this role is 100% in-office in either our New York City or Miami office locations The base pay range for this position is $125,000-$175,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.
