Position overview: Davis-Standard is seeking a highly skilled Reporting and Consolidation Manager, to support the Controller in overseeing the Group financial consolidation & reporting process. This key role will assist in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of consolidated financial reporting across multiple subsidiaries and stakeholders. Key responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and compliant preparation and presentation of Group financial reports, managing the end-to-end consolidation of financial statements from various entities within the Group, including the preparation, review, and analysis of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP accounting standards. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data from multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations. Monitor changes in accounting standards and assist in assessing their impact on the consolidation process, implementing necessary adjustments. Work closely with entity's finance teams to gather required financial data, ensuring consistency in reporting practices and adherence to consolidation timelines. Provide training and guidance to entity's finance teams on consolidation processes, helping to ensure accuracy and consistency across Group financial reporting. Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of intercompany accounting and revenue recognition, implementing best practices where possible. Foster strong working relationships with finance teams across various regions and departments, ensuring that intercompany activities support accurate revenue recognition and financial integrity. Monitor and adjust intercompany processes as needed to address complexities in revenue recognition, such as multi-region transactions, transfer pricing and foreign currency implications. Support due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions into the consolidated financial structure. Coordinate month-end and quarter-end closing processes, prepare consolidated financial statements, and analyze financial results. Lead the preparation of annual financial statements for the Group, coordinate year-end audits, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and compliance with the Group's internal control and disclosure requirements. Prepare and present financial reports to executives and stakeholders, liaise with external auditors, and respond to financial information requests. Identify and implement improvements to streamline and automate reporting and consolidation processes and collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize the use of financial consolidation software and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the consolidation process. Oversee the Corporate Accounting close and allocations across entities. Experience: At least 5+ years proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation, or related roles, within a global organization. Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with experience in preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements. Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA preferred Proficiency in financial consolidation software - Onestream and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy. Functional Competencies: Extensive knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and standards Expertise in preparing and consolidating financial statements, along with strong familiarity with OneStream's' financial reporting software and consolidation tools.
