Adecco is currently assisting a local client recruiting for a Maintenance Technician position in Auburn, NY . Job Summary: The maintenance team is tasked with maintaining all of the equipment in the facility. The employee must be aware of all food safety protocols and how maintenance affects this program. The employee will adhere to all SOPs and policies to ensure that the employees are performing their job safely and that the feed is produced with animal safety and quality in mind. Responsibilities: Maintain a preventative maintenance log to ensure that all equipment is cleaned and updated on a regular basis. Tracking of water, gas, and electricity usage. Adherence to proper protocols for routine and emergency work to ensure employee and feed safety. Support the warehouse and production staff during operation when mechanical issues arise. Develop preventative maintenance (PM) sheets for equipment including frequency and description of PM, parts needed and cost. Develop log and schedule for PM's going forward. Daily log of water intake and wastewater leaving the plant.
