Full Stack Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with over 10 years of experience in Vue.js and Node.js. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with Docker and cloud services (preferably AWS) to push containers to production. This role requires strong communication skills and familiarity with agile methodologies, as you will be collaborating closely with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Ownership of User Stories: Take responsibility for back-end and front-end components of user stories, designing, implementing, and unit testing complete solutions. Data Model Development: Design and implement necessary data model changes for feature development. Collaboration with QA: Work alongside QA engineers and product owners to address issues raised during testing and ensure they are resolved before release. Production Support: Help diagnose, triage, and fix production defects. Backlog Grooming Participation: Collaborate with the development team and product owner to understand user stories and break them down into manageable tasks. Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews for other engineers' work, providing constructive feedback. Technical Debt Management: Identify and address technical debt within the codebase. Continuous Improvement: Participate in retrospectives to contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's software engineering practices. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in full stack development with a focus on Vue.js and Node.js. Proficient in Docker, AWS (ECS Fargate, ECR, Lambda, S3), and Git for source code management. Strong experience writing SQL to create and modify relational data models. Familiar with agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, XP, and DevOps. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C# .NET (a plus, but not required). Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and JSON. Experience building AI Chatbot applications. Knowledge of Python and CodeBuild is a plus. Leadership Competencies Strong business acumen and project management skills.
