Position Summary The Senior Manager of Accounting is an important addition to the US operations and will play a critical role in assisting the plant manager and the President of US Operations as the facility comes on-line in late 2024. The role will be part of plant leadership and will have responsibility for ensuring financial reporting needs are met while also helping to build out the finance team. About the Company Bila Solar is an innovative solar energy company that manufactures groundbreaking solutions to transform and power the world, driving evolution in the renewable energy sector. The company's flagship product - ultralight solar modules - paves a new path for the solar industry by transcending the limitations of traditional glass and aluminum-framed panels. Bila Solar's products enable installations on low load-bearing roofs, curved surfaces, and other locations where traditional solar modules can't go. In August 2023, Bila Solar announced plans to enter the US market through establishing a new, world-class solar manufacturing facility at a former Eli Lilly plant in Indianapolis, IN. Retrofitting is under way with plant operations targeted to commence in mid-2024. Key Responsibilities : Manage the company's financial accounts, payroll, budget and financial assets Handle the company's AR/AP transactions and cash flow forecasts Reach financial objectives by implementing proper accounting procedure Monitor and analyze financial accounting data Contribute to planning and implementing company's financial strategy Generate regular financial reports for management Prepare special reports for State & Local manufacturing incentive packages Other duties & projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar education Prior experience as a Plant Controller or Assistant Controller is desirable Hands-on and energetic contributor with experience in setting up systems in early stage, fast growth organizations. Open to participate in tasks required to bring the facility on-line including onboarding of key new hires, managing insurance and tax relationships, and overseeing key aspects of the factory and HQ office setup Experience with Budgeting, Forecasting, and development of reporting to help improve operations and financial results Excellent communication skills, written and oral, for effective interaction with finance and operations teams, and with parent company Benefits We offer a small company, family-oriented culture coupled with the excitement of a start-up business.
