Ready to be part of something special? Join our Family! Monitors, maintains, and performs standard repairs to building electrical systems, such as fixtures, switches, photocells, and outlets. Monitors performance of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems for the building; performs standard repairs/replacement of components, as appropriate, and non-technical maintenance task such as cleaning of heating and cooling fans coil units, changing filters and adjustment of system controls. Monitors and performs maintenance of plumbing systems, to include standard repair of leaking fixtures, cleaning obstructed waste lines, installing water coolers and heaters. Performs carpentry maintenance tasks which will include installation of sheetrock/drywall installation and /or repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation. Painting of interior and exterior finishes as needed. Assist in maintaining water treatment and storage systems. Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Documents facilities maintenance requirements and maintains appropriate records of work performed. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Experience & Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent 3-5 years' experience working in facilities maintenance. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer service oriented. Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to multi-task. Ability to perform other functions such as standing, walking, sitting, twisting and carrying objects up to 50lbs. Ability to work in cold and wet conditions with the smell of chlorine (inside plant 34 degrees and below) Must be flexible with schedule and be available to work PM shift, weekends and overtime as required.
