JOB TITLE: Pricing Coordinator - Remote REPORTS TO: Pricing Manager OVERVIEW OF ROLE: The Pricing Coordinator always services the customer first by accurately coordinating, reviewing and processing pricing requests and bid proposals from Ward Logistic Solution Managers at assigned service center locations and as backup support for non-assigned service centers. Update system with pricing information to allow proper rate and billing application. Prepare Ward 435 tariff publications, and assist in related pricing functions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately coordinate, review and process Requests for pricings, bid proposals and contract managements as submitted from Ward Logistic Solution Managers at assigned service centers and as back-up support for non-assigned service center locations. Review results of account pricing action and provide feedback to Ward Logistic Solution Managers. Accurately update the system with pricing information to allow proper rate and billing application. Respond to field questions via the telephone demonstrating Ward standard for telephone etiquette. Prepare Ward 435 tariff publications. Assist in related pricing functions, including General Rate Increase and Contract Management process. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pricing Manager or Pricing Department Directors. Fully support all technologies and processes, introduced by Ward, that are intended to improve efficiencies and/or the customer experience. Support would include adherence to training programs, guidelines and processes associated with these systems. Accurately and timely process pricing. Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: This positon is designated as remote working. Employee would need to follow and adhere to all items outlined in the Teleworking policy. Must have excellent people skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and employees. Must have strong organizational skills as well as have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in business math and possess good analytical skills. Previous background of transportation industry preferred. Must be proficient with PC's and have a good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs. Must have basic ability to use office equipment such as computer, calculator, photocopier, fax, etc. Must be able to work hours as needed and travel as required. Degree in business, mathematics, logistics or related field preferred.
