What impact you'll make As a member of the Process Industrialization team, you will be an active contributor to create, maintain, and execute the standard in how to develop and industrialize manufacturing processes using a team-based approach. This role sits within the Process Industrialization team and will lead equipment specification, builds, programming, and work closely with process development to build machines around a process. The role will work closely with the maintenance team to develop long term professional maintenance procedures. The role will also be key in integrating part movement solutions into, out of, and between new and existing equipment. And support building quality into the process. Job Description What you'll do Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy and roadmap initiatives Execute hand offs for new product introductions, part and technology transfers, new process introductions, and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time, technology selection, tooling, fixturing, programming, quality plan, and run-off of initial production sets Execute hands-on development of new products and processes enabling a successful hand-off to the production team Manage project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process quality, qualifications, and Lean Strong ability to identify and eliminate waste while coaching others Engineering, standardizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes Participate in productivity efforts supporting cost competitiveness Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with wider team on breakthrough initiatives What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience Minimum of 4 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment Eligibility Requirements Must be willing to work 100% onsite at the GE Greenville Manufacturing site This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment What will make you stand out Strong background in machine builds, specifications, operations, and/or machine health Experience with machine safety systems design and implementation Proficiency in NX and Vericut Proficiency in product and process inspection techniques Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to influence others and lead small teams Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact Ability to coordinate and manage several projects simultaneously Effective problem identification and solution skills Proven analytical and organizational ability Deep manufacturing technical expertise Has comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches, and methodology Pay Transparency The starting base pay range for this position is $80,000 - 110,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on June 25, 2024, or thereafter. *The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
