The Lede Company is seeking a Senior Account Executive (or Account Manager) to join the team in our New York office. Our desired candidate is experienced in the spirits category, has exceptional pitching capabilities and comes with established media relationships. The SAE/AM will play an integral role in supporting accounts for spirits and lifestyle clients. The SAE/AM will generally support 5 - 8 retainer accounts and projects. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Help develop and pitch compelling stories and narratives on behalf of clients to secure consistent product-centric coverage and overall develop strong brand awareness Lead client programs and campaigns from planning to execution Write, proof and edit a variety of PR and marketing materials, while contributing as a team member on client accounts Oversee coordinators and assistants to review client agendas, recap reports and clips, while also mentoring junior staff Communicate with clients regularly and build a relationship with them, while helping handle day-to-day client tasks Help develop and ideate client PR strategies such as client messaging, media + influencer targets, creative seeding ideas, etc. Work alongside partner teams within the agency as well as client partner agencies Support onsite at events, coordinate logistics at all stages of programming, and coordinate retail promotions Contribute to monthly, project and/or event reporting and recaps across all clients QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, english, public relations or marketing 4+ years' experience in brand pr/comms, preferably at a public relations agency Solid media relationships with exceptional pitching capabilities Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills Outstanding interpersonal skills Business acumen with the ability to communicate across departments within the organization Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive Meticulous attention to detail Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing IDEAL CANDIDATE A collaborative team member and an out-of-the-box thinker who can bring together people, processes, and ideas to drive results An enthusiastic professional with a passion for communications and deep expertise in building, stewarding, and growing relationships A strong communicator, researcher, and strategist committed to delivering excellent work A self-starter with energy, creativity, and an innate interest and curiosity for Fashion, CPG, lifestyle, and culture ADDITIONAL DETAILS Hybrid; minimum 3 days a week in-office is required Evening and some weekend hours may be required The Lede Company is an equal opportunity employer.
