IT Intern

PADNOS is one of the busiest recycling companies in Michigan recycling metal, paper, & plastic. With over 700 employees located in over 24 facilities throughout Michigan and Indiana, there are many opportunities for employment. People and communication skills are of utmost importance as focus lies on analyzing and solving problems for employees. Potential Responsibilities (and potential training opportunities): -New PC setup and configuration -Mobile device setup and support (iOS, Android) -Active Directory user setup and administration -Basic user help desk support -Windows 2016 server support and administration -Office 365 / Exchange support and administration -PC hardware and desktop software support and upgrades -Wide Area Network & Local Area Network Support -Phone System Support (Cisco VoIP / CUCM) -System and network monitoring -Ongoing IT project improvements -Basic customer/user project requests Basic Job Requirements: -Must be a current student (preferably freshman, sophomore, or junior status) -Excellent communication skills -Flexible work schedule (Around 20 hours during school, 40 in the summer) -Basic to moderate Microsoft Office experience (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) -Experience with Windows 10 operating systems -Basic PC hardware setup and configuration knowledge -Ability to document business processes -Must be able to work independently on trips to outlying locations Be a part of the green movement and join PADNOS today!
