You belong here About this position: In this role, you would be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and activities in support of staff caring for any pediatric patient meeting the criteria for admission to a p ediatric critical care bed. This will include supporting the orientation and on-going competencies for new and current staff. The nurse educator loves nursing and has a passion for teaching. You will play a vital role in leading change in pursuit of improved nursing practice and professional development. Collaborates with other hospital partners by serving as content and logistics expert for nursing curriculum Monitors educational programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Serves as a role model and change agent to achieve educational goals in the strategic plan. Who should apply: Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing required. Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse license is required at time of hire. 5 years of nursing experience preferred. Minimum of three years of nursing experience in the pediatrics and critical care with leadership experience. Active BLS CPR certification. Salary Range: Minimum 43.93 per hour - Maximum 68.09 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
