Elliot Company, specializing in IT services, consulting, Cyber Security, and Audio / Video integration services. 46Solutions is seeking the following: Job Description The A/V Consultant and Lighting Specialist develops relationships with current and potential clients, architects, designers, home builders, realtors, and other industry stakeholders to facilitate the sale of integrated system design and installation services, and obtains expertise in both window coverings and lighting systems. This individual also works with project managers, designers, technicians, and administrative staff to build rapport with clients and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. Essential Functions Develops a strong understanding of audio/video, networking, lighting, motorized window treatment, video surveillance, and automation systems Meets or exceeds sales goals Negotiates contracts with prospective clients Attends regular trainings for lighting and window treatment products Works with Systems Manager to present contracts to prospective clients Prepares weekly and monthly reports Regularly attends networking events as a representative of 46Solutions Gives sales presentations to prospective clients Visits clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services Works with Operations Coordinator and submits sales contracts for payment and ordering Maintains client records Answers client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability Performs other related duties as assigned Core Competencies Bring a positive attitude, good customer service skills, a stellar work ethic, and a professional appearance to the workplace Adept at thinking creatively and strategically Demonstrates excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution Demonstrates effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Interacts thoughtfully with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds Works independently and as part of a team Balances competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines Exhibits strong management and leadership skills Servant-leader with empathy for others Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple deadlines simultaneously Capable of leading and motivating others Able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends Can pass a drug screen and background check Possesses a valid driver's license Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds Able to team lift items in excess of 100 pounds Capable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods of time Aptitude and appetite to learn new technologies and processes Education & Experience Minimum of four years of low voltage integrated systems work experience preferred Previous experience selling window treatments and lighting required Proficiency in d-tools and MS Office with expertise in Outlook Word, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred Minimum of a high school diploma required: post-secondary degree or certification preferred Industry recognized (CEDIA, AVIXA, manufacturer, etc.) credentials preferred Benefits/Culture 46Solutions continues to grow its share in the Kentucky market.
