*Candidates must be local to Chicago, IL and comfortable working onsite 4-5 days per week.* The Executive Assistant supports four total business technology and operations executives in the US. The responsibilities include managing the business administration functions for the leader, making day-to-day administrative and operational decisions. The Executive Assistant may also be responsible for coordinating the departments administrative activities and events, and providing administrative guidance, support, leadership to other administrative support staff. Required Skills & Experience •5+ years of administrative experience and calendar management experience, ideally as an Executive Assistant (C-Suite). •Experience as an EA at a fast paced, rapidly growing/changing environment such as a mid-sized startup, law or investment firm, mid-sized bank, mid-sized healthcare or financial organization. •Must be adapt to heavy calendar management and constant changes to scheduling. •Working knowledge technology and operations business activities, and organization structure •Working knowledge of enterprise and external business partner relationships. •Strong organization and administrative skills; capable of operating independently with minimal direction while keeping the executives informed of "variances to plan", potential problems, problem resolution, and/or sensitive issues, etc. •Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals at different levels in a wide range of situations, which usually requires tact, diplomacy, and discretion. •Initiative and self-managing skills to be able to work independently with minimal direction and to respond effectively to issues that arise in the absence of the executives. •Strong technical skills in Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, desktop publishing, as well as various types of office equipment and conference room technology •Must respond effectively to crises or emergency situations requiring quick judgment and prompt action.
