EisnerAmper is looking for an Collections Specialist to support our global partner team. The Collections Specialist is responsible for providing customer service regarding collection issues, process and review account adjustments, and resolving invoice discrepancies. They are responsible for reducing the delinquency for assigned accounts. They must communicate effectively with Treasury management regarding customer accounts in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be able to build relationships with our partners and clients and ensure timely payment. What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper: You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry You will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance You will join a culture that has received multiple top "Places to Work" awards We believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions We understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation Showing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work Numerous Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) efforts What Work You Will be Responsible For: Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts Investigate and reconcile client data Find and contact clients to ask about their payments Take actions to encourage timely debt payments Process payments and refunds Resolve billing and customer payment issues Update account notes and collection efforts Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status Calls to request payment dates for outstanding invoices (invoices >60 days) Escalating past due balances to AR Senior Manager and Partner Follow-up with colleagues for information client needs to process payment Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma 5+ years of experience in collections Preferred/Desired Qualifications: Proven experience as a Collection Specialist Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Skilled in negotiation Problem-solving skills Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques Preferred experience in a professional services environment Familiarity with laws related to debt collection Working knowledge of SAP, knowledge of High Radius a plus Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) Comfortable working with targets Patience and ability to manage stress We strongly believe in the value of diversity and creating supportive, inclusive environments where our colleagues can succeed.
