About the Role: As a Jr Software Developer at McGohan Brabender, you will design, develop and maintain software applications, automation scripts, services and other process automation tools. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual, focused on collaboration with other IT and non-IT resources to create the best customer centered solutions. Key Responsibilities: Write high quality, semantic, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code. Engineer and develop automated processes via C# and the Microsoft .NET framework. Development will include moving of various data between APIs, JSON, SQL and other structures. Working with MS SQL from within .NET code. Automation of processes from code, low-code and visual-code. Work with business teams to create technical requirements and deliver within time and scope. Stay up to date with the latest industry technologies and best practices, applying them where appropriate to our projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS, MIS, etc.) preferred, experience may serve as an adequate substitute for a degree. Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, APIs (REST). Experience with the use of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or similar). Additional scripting knowledge and web technologies is a plus. Experience with CRMs (Salesforce is a plus). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Previous experience in insurance industry/brokerage is a plus.
