Kennedy Jenks is seeking an ambitious and service-oriented Project Engineer to join one of KJ's largest and fastest growing markets! As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in our water/wastewater practice, performing design work and acting as a lead on projects while working in a multi-disciplined team of project engineers and managers. Projects include a variety of water, wastewater, recycled water, utility infrastructure and treatment process improvement projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and analysis: Prepare detailed design, specifications and drawings. Design calculations with support of senior team. Assist the Project Manager where needed. Provide technical support and expertise to multi-disciplinary project teams. Write technical reports and maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation. Project management: Support projects from conception through construction coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. Lead small projects and attend both internal and external meetings where necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related scientific discipline required. Master's degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE within 6 months of hire 4-8 years of water/wastewater engineering experience. Proficiency in various software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil3D, and Microsoft Products. Ability to interact professionally internally and externally, analyze technical documents, and communicate effectively. Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $90,000 to $130,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
