Overview: Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a senior Logistics Analyst to join our team of talented consultants providing professional services to the senior leadership of NAVSEA 04s (Industrial Operations). This individual will work with a team in support of industrial supply support operations under NAVSEA 04. Responsibilities: The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this position. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Provide technical assistance with the management and execution of programs across governance/policy, IT enhanced supply support tools, and supply support. Assist in analyzing, formulating and revising Industrial Supply Support Operations policies, instructions and guidance. Provide logistics and industrial supply functional expertise related to policy, procedures, systems, and industrial supply support processes. Assist with expediting high priority data calls from SEA04, the Fleet, Shipyards, and other SEA04S stakeholders. Coordinate issues associated with industrial supply support with the respective activity, i.e., Naval Shipyards (NSY) Code 500s, Defense Logistics Agency, Naval Supply Systems Command, Ship Availability Planning and Engineering Center, Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning and Procurement, etc. Assist with the Material Common Operating System (MCOS) and provide recommendations on the validity of data provided in MCOS reports. Assist with the development, distribution, and analysis of industrial supply support NSY metrics; provide technical and analytical support in researching, data gathering, analysis, and preparation of metric packages, utilizing NAVSEA measurement tools (e.g. Information Management for the 21st Century and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)) and other tools. Provide functional expertise related to Maintenance Inter-service Support Office (MISO), Designated Overhaul Point (DOP) and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) and assist with expediting high priority data calls from MISO / DOP / DSOR stakeholders. Qualifications: Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience in industrial supply chain management processes, product support analysis, maintenance, planning, provisioning, sustainment, modernization and readiness to meet operational availability thresholds. Specifically, the ideal candidate will also have Lean Six Sigma experience and be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities: DoD acquisition lifecycle processes Bachelors degree in an engineering or business/supply chain discipline Ten (10) years of professional experience in a logistics or business management discipline. In Lieu of a degree, fifteen (15) years of experience in Logistics or Business Management discipline Experience with Lean Six Sigma process improvement Experience using the following industrial supply data systems: One Touch Supply Navy ERP FedMall Web Federal Logistics Information Service (WebFLIS) Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) Professional experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite of tools Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a government-issued CAC and possess a Secret clearance. Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation : Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000.00 to $180,000.00 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
