Overview Gladstone Animal Clinic in Gladstone, Missouri is hiring a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our six-doctor team ! New grads are welcome to apply. All our doctors have various areas of interest, which we encourage and support. Exotics, Advanced Surgery, Urgent Care? Gladstone Animal Clinic is a full-service, small animal general practice that treats dogs, cats, and a wide variety of exotic species. Our clinic is very well-established in the community and has been serving the pets of Clay County for almost 60 years. We are excited to announce that facility just went through a full remodel, by moving into a new builing, giving us 11,000 sq feet, 13 exam rooms, and creating an open floor plan! Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and cold laser therapy. Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, ortho, dentistry, as well as exotic surgeries. All our patients undergoing anesthesia are required to have pre-op labwork, IV catheter, and IV fluids. We also have an incredible team of certified technicians and assistants. Each doctor (on our 6 DVM team) is well-supported with their own assistant each day, as well as designated support staff in the treatment area, surgery, and pharmacy. We have worked very hard to build and maintain a positive practice culture and collaborative team. We have monthly doctor and staff meetings, to help ensure everyone's voice is heard, and we have potlucks and holiday parties. The schedule is a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays. There are usually 4 doctors working each Saturday, so new grads would never be alone on Saturday shifts. We are happy to consider candidates interested in working exclusively with dogs and cats or with an interest in exotics. We are also open to Urgent Care interest or a mix of Urgent Care/GP.
