Who we are looking for: Our Construction & Prefabrication Services (C&PS) strategic business unit is project accountant supervisor who will be responsible for supporting project accounting, month end close and financial reporting and analysis for our Greenfield, OSM Facility. Our ideal candidate has strong analytical skills. We also value integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills. What you'll do: Prepare and monitor project forecasts and conduct regular forecast reviews to ensure the project stays on budget Develop reports and KPIs to track and monitor project activity Manage and oversee all financial transactions related to the project Reconcile project related financial discrepancies Perform cost analyses and profitability assessments Collaborate with project team members to develop financial plans Prepare monthly billing for projects What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3-5 years of experience, construction experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook. Understand accounting theory and application. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to think through process, problems and analysis Within 3 months, you'll: Complete your Atkore immersion program. Develop relationships with the key stakeholders for this role. Have learned the fundamentals of our company's internal software and processes. Within 6-months, you'll: Take full ownership of project reporting, forecasting, analysis and audits Take full ownership over recurring journal entries and reconciliations Assist Controller with creation of ad-hoc financial reports Assist Controller with analysis and reporting of balance sheet fluctuations Within 12-months, you'll: Provide analytical and accounting and reporting support at the project level. Create, maintain, and update reports and documentation. Have meaningful performance conversations with your business partners.
