Job Description: As a Financial Analyst at Z Modular you will be a key member of the of the growing finance team. In this role you will analyze our construction projects and support other finance initiatives. This high visibility position will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze the financial results of our construction projects Ensure monthly costs for each project are recorded accurately and timely Prepare monthly financial results for construction projects comparing to forecast and prior periods Investigate anomalies in financial results Build project and financial forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans Present analysis, findings and conclusions to various groups and management levels in the organization Design and execute solutions to automate and improve processes Provide support for other finance initiatives Ad hoc analysis and other responsibilities as assigned GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or similar discipline Knowledge of accounting and accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, modeling, and data manipulation Construction or project accounting experience is a plus Hands-on knowledge of construction management or accounting software is plus Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple priorities. Experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating ones own work Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and presentation skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization Positive, upbeat attitude that will embrace the Z Modular and Zekelman Industries values KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / COMPETENCIES Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field Construction or project management experience is a plus Previous experience with Construction management or accounting software is plus Previous experience with fully integrated ERP systems such as Microsoft D365 is a plus Job Footer (US) : Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.?
