About the Role: The Global Learning and Development Specialist is an integral part of Lathams Human Capital & Talent team and will be responsible for providing a variety of Learning & Development support services, offering day-to-day functional support, and maintaining and developing existing training programs, while ensuring successful day-to-day operations of the Learning & Development function. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Responsibilities & Qualifications: Other key responsibilities include: Coordinating all pre- and post-program activities both on the ground and in the Learning Management System ("LMS") Facilitating training programs, while vetting, selecting, and compiling courses of interest to firm personnel Compiling learning reports and analysis on completion records and trends in the LMS Working with Global Human Resources Operations, Global Technology, and any external benchmarking vendors on firm survey analysis, reporting, and presentations Communicating with vendors regarding training scheduling, shipment of materials, and billing Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains Wed love to hear from you if you: Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of learning and development functions Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm Possess the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus And have: A Bachelors degree or equivalent with a focus in industrial/organizational psychology or a related field A minimum of three (3) years of training and development experience in a legal or professional services environment may be considered in lieu of a degree A minimum of three (3) years human resources and/or learning and development experience Benefits & Additional Information: Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
