An international industrial manufacturing corporation near the Elk Grove Village, IL area is searching for an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to do a variety of work to support their engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates operational efficiency.Entry Level Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities Include:Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the productSuggest methods to improve operational efficiencyWork cross-functionally with different teams and organizationsReview product design to ensure quality standards and specificationsDevelop, monitor, and review foundry processes, and investigate inefficiency and conduct adjustmentMaintain drawings related to quality control functionsCommunicate with the production team or the other engineer departmentsIdentify root causes in the production processesRespond to client questions, concerns, and requestsOther Duties as assigned by Supervisor or ManagementEntry Level Mechanical Engineer Requirements:Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred, OR equivalent work experienceCommunication skills are important!Strong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workFamiliarity with CNC machines are preferredProficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPointMust be able to work responsibly, effectively, and independently when neededMust be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environmentThis position includes working in a manufacturing andor warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel partsequipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
