Insurance Assistant

Summary:This position provides support to Commercial Lines Account Managers and Producers in maintaining and servicing assigned accounts.Essential duties and functions include the following:Enter data and process daily downloadValidate renewal policies, endorsements, and cancellationsProcess telephone, fax or written requests for assigned accountsPrepare and process evidence of insurance and issue binders as necessaryAssist Account Managers with select clients from book of businessPerform other duties as assignedCompetencies:Good verbal and written communication skills.Good organization and prioritizing skills.Ability to initiate and foster client rapport.Experience with personal computers and related software (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Required SkillsRequired:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to obtain PA L&H License within first 6 monthsHighly attentive to detailsProficient with MS Office SuiteAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityPreferred:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business, risk-management, or financial related discipline1 year of insurance experiencePay range based on experience: $21.63 to $24.04 per hour. The pay range provided is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, andor budget for the role.
