The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years experience on heavy highway projects that have included paving, bridge, andor drainage for immediate assignment on a northern New Jersey Agency project. Core ResponsibilitiesServe as a Resident Engineer on New Jersey Agency projects and perform on-site inspection for heavy highway projects.Assist in the review of Cost Estimates and project submittals.Oversight of additional inspection staff in the fieldCoordinate with Project ManagersTravel to projects sites when required.Routine ActivitiesPerform office related work when not performing construction inspection.Ensure daily contractor operations are in accordance with Contract DocumentsKeep organized and up to date project files.What We Are Looking For Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited Civil Engineering school required.Professional Engineering (PE) License or valid NICET IIIIV Certification required.Experience performing construction inspection on prior New Jersey Agency projects.Minimum of eight (8) years' experience as a Resident Engineer.Advanced ability to read and understand Contract Documents.Ability to pass a TWIC Background Check.Ability to perform Night work, if pensation and Benefits: As a valued member of our team, we provide you with a flexible benefits package that reflects our respect for your workplace contributions, professional goals, and personal priorities.
