We provide legal services in connection with commercial real estate transactions, affordable housing development transactions, construction contracts and disputes, and real property and business litigation, for both for profit and non-profit organizations, including transitional and supportive housing. Our firm prides itself on its diversity, collaborative culture, commitment to client service, and delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real EstateLitigation Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in real estate transactional law and some experience with real estate related experience. Experience in affordable housing development, while not required, will be viewed favorably. The candidate will support the litigation practice of the Firm, so some amount of litigation experience is a plus. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and a genuine interest in real estate law and community development.   Key Responsibilities: Support attorneys with all aspects of real estate transactions, including residential, commercial, and development projects. Draft, review, and organize real estate documents, including but not limited to purchase agreements, leases, accesslicense agreements, closing, construction contracts, architectural agreements, and limited liability company operating agreements  Draft, review and organize litigation documents and file litigation documents on NYSCEF. Assist with due diligence in real estate transactions, including title review and searches, and document review. Prepare closing statements and binders.  Liaise with clients, title companies, lenders, and other third parties involved in transactions andor litigation matters. Conduct basic legal research as requested   Qualifications: Education: Paralegal certification or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 2 -5 years of real estatelitigation paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint). Familiarity with CLIO, ACRIS Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines. Certifications: Paralegal certificate preferred, or an associate'sbachelor's degree in legal studies.   Other Requirements Proof of the ability to work legally in the United States. Competitive salary and partially employer subsidized health insurance. Opportunities for professional development and growth. Supportive and collaborative work environment. Flexible work schedule, including remote work options two days per week. Exposure to high-profile clients, complex real estate transactions and litigation.  How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, cover letter, and references to with the subject line "Real Estate Paralegal Application - [Your Name]."  Richter Restrepo PLLC is an equal opportunity employer the values diversity in its workforce.
