Job TitleField Service Engineer - CT/MRI (Chicago, IL)Job DescriptionField Service EngineerThis position supports the Diagnostic Imaging Systems business within the greater Chicago area. This position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and diagnosis and treatment imaging solutions at customer sites.Your role:Assist in service repair, preventative maintenance, field change orders/installations for our diagnostic imaging equipment (MR/CT).Identification and resolution of customer issues, providing the customer with the appropriate communication and involving appropriate Service and Sales PersonnelDefines problems: Collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Has the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variablesYou're the right fit if: Located in the Chicago areaBSEE/BSEET preferred, or two-year formal education combined with appropriate high tech related experienceAt least three years of experience demonstrating repair and troubleshooting skills with diagnostic imaging equipment is requiredAbility to understand and apply electronic, mechanical and networking theory to install, diagnose and repair equipment including ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawingsYou must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Field Service positionHow we work togetherWe believe that we are better together than apart. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive plan, field service incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
