Under general supervision and reporting Quality Management in Quality Operations, The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing visual inspection operations including In-process, Final Inspection, and FAI's as appropriate. The Quality Inspector must be familiar with hand tools and inspection under magnification. The Quality Inspector will also assist in verification of test data and all other applicable data concerning components, and associated documentation and other duties identified by cognizant management.Requires IPC/610 and J-STD-001Job Responsibilities:IPC 600 & 610 certification and prior hands-on PCBA experiencePerforms final inspection and receiving inspection (Which includes dimensional, visual inspection, surface finish, and assembly inspection)Reads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentationProcesses warehouse materialsRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the jobSupport positive corrective actions and identification of root causeOther duties as assigned.Required SkillsCMM Inspection processKnowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretationExperienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined componentsExperience in performing FAI's - AS9102Experience with hand measurement toolsMS Outlook, and EXCEL experienceExperience with hand measurement gages, conduct conventional inspection toStrong verbal, written and communication skillsFluent English - reading and writing is requiredProfessionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detailStrong independent decision-making skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgmentExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsMust be able to simultaneously manage several objectivesMust be detail oriented, organized, and self-motivatedAdditional Desired Skills:Prior practical experience and implementation of Quality inspection tools and equipment.
