Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with an established financial services organization to find a Senior Systems Administrator. As the Sr Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the storage infrastructure to ensure the reliability of the production systems. If you're looking for a new career opportunity apply now Responsibilities : Provide second-level support for Microsoft Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting issues. Contribute to disaster recovery/business continuity (DR/BCP) validation testing for system uptime. Maintain a secure and stable IT infrastructure by adhering to established change control, security, and risk management standards. Streamline server management through automation of upgrades (hardware, OS, drivers, patches) and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO, CIS, PCI, FFIEC) through documentation and security implementation. Qualifications/Background Profile : Bachelor's degree in computer science is required Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a distributed Windows Server environment Experience with VMWare virtualization technologies Experience with Managing Windows components (Active Directory, DNS, GPO, Microsoft clustering) Experience with maintaining AWS cloud technologies in an hybrid environment Experience with Dell backup technologies Experience administering, and troubleshooting software and hardware in large, mission critical, 24x7 production environments, preferably banking or similar financial institutions This job is Hybrid Remote.
